NBEA Awards in December

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) last week launched the National Business Excellence Awards (NBEA) which will be held on December 16, at the Hilton for the 11th consecutive year.

Application forms are now available at the NCCSL Secretariat. The annual award scheme evaluates the overall performance of businesses and selects the best. Over the past 10 years, NBEA has gained a high reputation and recognition among the business community due to its high standard and professionalism.

The competition is divided into five categories: Extra Large, Large, Medium, Small and Micro and several industry sectors and offers 88 awards which include many sectors.

The rules and criteria for categorising, marking and the process of evaluation have been modernised this year in keeping with the contemporary business environment. The judging will be done by a panel of judges who are professionals.
