Plantation T U Leaders send good wishes to Indian PM

A number of Plantation Trade Union Leaders sent a felicitation and best wishes to the newly elected Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi - The first to sent were Ceylon Workers' Alliance leader and a former member of Parliament S. Sathasivam, the leader of Nation Union of Workers' P. Deegamparam MP and several others, who have emphasised the need for a new Indian government, while having close links with the government.

These Union leaders have also requested the Indian government to ensure that in the allocations of proposed housing project in the plantation sector should be done according to a priority basis. .
