Program to curb malpractices at LG bodies

The Bribery Commission has decided to educate all heads of local bodies and their top officials to prevent various types of malpractices that take place at present. The program is carried out as per the instructions of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. The Commissioner General of Bribery Commission Dr. Jayantha Wickramaratne will launch this education program covering all provinces in the country.

This program will be held with the participation and guidance of District Secretaries, a senior official of the Bribery Commission told.
