Trinity regain De Saram Shield with 38-10 win over Thomians

Trinity College scored a 38 points (four goals, two tries) to 10 (one goal, one penalty) win over S Thomas' College Mount Lavinia in their Singer Under-20 Segment 'A' match played at Pallekele Stadium yesterday after leading 31-3 at the 'breather'. With this win, Trinity regained the RS de Saram Shield.

Number Eight Isuru Rangala (one try), centre Ryan Weerakoon (one try), flanker Rahul Karunatilleke (one try), winger Lochana Girihagama (two tries), flyhalf Tharinda Ratwatte (one try) scored the tries for Trinity with Ratwatte goaling four of the tries.

For S Thomas', lock foward J Kasun scored a try and fly half D Fernando added the extra points and also put over the penalty.
