K. Samaranayake's latest book, 12 Jataka Stories was launched recently as an author publication. Written in simple English, it contains 12 selected Jataka stories, including Kusa, Vidhura and Ummagga Jataka, in abridged form. The book has been recommended as a school library book by the Ministry of Education.

Vanaspetha Pathiniya

Sanda Lalith Ranasinghe's latest Sinhala novel Vanapetha Pathiniya was launched recently as a Sarasavi publication. She is the author of Sanda Eliya, Ayeth Ayeth Adorayamai and Suddi.
