CEO forum on ‘Changing Skyline of Colombo’
The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) will conduct a
CEO forum on the theme 'Changing Skyline of Colombo – Opportunities for
the Private Sector' on Thursday at the NCCSL auditorium, D. R.
Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 1, from 4.30 -6.30 p.m.
Chairman, Urban Development Authority Nimal Perera and Deputy
Director General (Projects) Nihal Fernando and the technical team of the
Urban Development Authority will also be present.
Phenomenal changes are taking place in the infrastructure of Colombo,
such as the new look Dutch Hospital, extensive and innovative changes to
the Racecourse, and the latest addition, Arcade - Independence Square,
transforming the city. The process of beautification, cleanliness,
streamlining and environmental change are visible.
“Exporters and investors have expressed delight at the unfolding
transformation and are confident that tomorrow’s Colombo will attract
foreign customers and potential investors to the country,” a Chamber
spokesman said. |
