Asian Alliance bags awards

Asian Alliance Insurance PLC won awards and accolades at the 2013 Vision Awards organised by the League of American Communication Professionals in its Annual Report competition.

The annual report competition featured entries from 1,000 companies in 25 countries this year. Asian Alliance Finance PLC's 2013 Annual Report won awards in various categories.

Asian Alliance Insurance General Manager Saliya Wickramasinghe said, "The Asian Alliance Insurance annual report was recognised among the Top 80 annual reports in the entire Asia Pacific region at the 2013 Vision Awards. We also won the Silver Award for excellence in reporting in the insurance industry and in addition we received the honour of presenting the Most Improved Annual Report in the Asia Pacific region in the fiscal year under review."

"Our annual report was particularly commended for its detailed information, narration and creativity. The judging criteria included several other parameters against which our annual report scored almost full marks," he said.
