Next Independence Day at Weeraketiya

Sri Lanka will celebrate its 67th Independence Day on February 4, 2015 at Weeraketiya under the leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. The Deyata Kirula-2015 Development Exhibition will be held at Matara. Public Administration and Home Affairs Minister W.D.J. Seneviratne toured Weeraketiya area recently accompanied by the Deputy Minister Wijaya Dahanayake and Hambantota District Secretary to identify a suitable site for the purpose.
