International confab from August 4-5

The 13th session of the Regional Committee on the Recognition of
Qualifications in Higher Education in Asia and the Pacific in
conjunction with the Regional Workshop on Quality Assurance in Higher
Education will be held at the Hotel Galadari on August 4 and 5.
This is the first time that this international conference is held in
Sri Lanka. It is organised by the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau
for Education, Bangkok, Australian Government Department of Education,
Ministry of Higher Education, University Grants Commission and Higher
Education Ministry Secretary Dr. Sunil Jayantha Nawaratne told the
Sunday Observer yesterday.
