Hemas program on cavity prevention

Clogard recently launched a comprehensive national initiative, under the theme 'Towards a cavity-free Sri Lanka' aimed at preventing dental caries.

Cavities are the most common chronic dental problem in Sri Lanka, yet it is largely preventable. Clogard’s new campaign educates the public of the life impact of tooth decay and encourages people and families to look after their teeth.

“Clogard understands that dental cavities are a national issue that can be prevented with sustained effort.

As a responsible oral care brand Clogard supports this national initiative to ensure Sri Lanka is a cavity-free nation,” Hemas Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd, Managing Director Roy Joseph said.

Health officials confirm the importance of recognising that cavities are preventable and in the early stages reversible and the need to develop comprehensive programs for its prevention and management.
