Floating Market to be opened tomorrow

The Pettah Floating Market will be opened tomorrow, August 25 at 5 pm, the Urban Development Authority announced.

Minister of Health and the General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, Mathirpala Sirisena will be the chief guest.

The Market was constructed by the Urban Development Authority under the Urban Regeneration Program for Colombo city.

It was scheduled to be opened on August 22 but the opening ceremony was postponed due to adverse weather.
