Diriyabima weekly fairs in NWPC

The Wayamba Provincial Council has launched the project Diriyabima, to construct weekly fairs in Kurunegala and Puttalam districts. This project would he implemented on a concept of Chief Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara. In the initial stage 25 weekly fairs would be constructed with funds allocated by the Provincial Council. Consumers and producers in the remote rural areas will benefit.

These weekly fairs will be environment-friendly and well-designed to suit the public better, Chief Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara said.
