GCE (A/L) evaluation begins on August 30

The Department of Examinations will commence evaluating answer-scripts of the G.C.E. (A/L) exam 2014 from August 30 to September 12, 2014.

Ten government schools designated as evaluation centres would be closed and re-opened on September 15.

The following schools would be closed according to the instructions of the Commissioner General of Examinations W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara.

Royal College, Colombo,Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo, Tissa M.M.V., Kalutara Ferguson High School, Ratnapura, Maliyadeva Girls' College, Kurunegala, St. Joseph M.V., Kuliyapitiya, Kegalle Balika V., Kegalle, Kingswood College, Kandy, Vidyaloka Vidyalaya, Galle and Vihara Maha Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Badulla.
