A prize-giving of the raffle draw
organised by the MPCS, Bentota was held recently at the MPCS
auditorium. The first prize a motorcycle was won by M.

The employees of Ceylinco Insurance
(General) distributed water to several remote areas of the
drought stricken Polonnaruwa district recently. Around 8,500
one and a half litre bottles of drinking water were
distributed under the first phase of the project. Over
16,000 litres of water were provided daily in bowsers for
two weeks . The water was distributed to Gurugodalla,
Palliyagodella, Ilukpitiya, Wadigawewa, Meegaswewa, Nikahena,
Galadamana and the Holsim Village.
An allocation of Rs. 2 lakhs was made to
concrete Napawala Belawankande road in the Dehiowita
Divisional Secretary's division, following a request made by
Napawala Grama Niladharini Nilani Hettiarachchi. Here
Sabaragamuwa Provincial Councillor Harsha Siyambalapitiya is
engaged in religious rituals prior to commencement of the
