Battle Zone on air on CSN from 30th August
BATTLE ZONE ON VIEW......For the first time in the Sri Lankan
television history, CSN has initiated a reality program comprising
adventurous and thrilling games. This program, named "Battle Zone"/"Sangrama
Adaviya" will be aired weekly commencing on the 30th August. Battle Zone
is scheduled to be telecasted for 24 weeks demonstrating thrilling
experiences and adventurous games faced by 16 popular artistes and
sports stars in Sri Lanka during 24 days in a jungle in the southern
province of the island.
Semini Iddamalgoda, Menaka Rajapakshe, Umayangana Wickramasinghe,
Nehara Peiris, Nino Araliya, Darshan Dharmaraj, Niroshan Wijesinghe,
Menaka Maduwanthi, Gayantha Wijayaratne, Rithu Akarsha, Sudarshanan
Bandara, Teddie Vidyalankara, Lochana Imashi, Krishani Alanki, Motor
Racer Dilantha Malagamuwa, Miss Sri Lanka Iresha Asanki and a number of
sports stars will be participating for the reality mission, Battle Zone.
During the Battle Zone adventure, the contestants had to compete in
extra difficult mission even risking their lives at some occasions
bringing a specialty for this program. These contestants spent 24 days
in the jungle with minimum facilities living in tents and consuming hard
earned foods. Pretty actresses and handsome actor competed shoulder to
shoulder in thrilling and very exciting games while having to go through
the hard conditions of the jungle life.
At the beginning, the contestants participate in these games as 2
teams and later Battle Zone becomes a game of individual contestants.
The contestants have to face 2 types of games. One type is the "Bonus
Games" where the winners will be provide with various facilities to make
their living easy in the jungle. Contestants who win "Free Game
Challenges" will proceed forward in the mission while the losing
contestants will be knocked out and in the end one contestant will be
come the ultimate winner of the Battle Zone.
This difficult mission was filmed during 24 days by CSN using the
latest technology with the participation of a crew of 40 television
technicians, Battle Zone will be a brand new experience for the Sri
Lankan audience as well as for the television industry.
