observerjobs.lk: the newest solution for job opportunities

The Sunday Observer as the No.1 newspaper for employment opportunities once again takes the lead in providing the latest and most innovative solutions to the public. Observerjobs.lk the latest addition to the many such solution provided, takes the lead in creating a web portal where host of benefits are offered for both the employer and the seeker.

"This novel concept is expected to be well accepted by employers and job seekers.

The solution will offer more benefits to both parties and this technological advancement will enable the Sunday Observer to have the competitive edge in the newspaper industry," M.O. Jayah Deputy General Manager Pre- Press and Systems Admin said.

This allows the job seeker to upload and save their CV in the latest format from several templates available.

These templates while presenting the applicants details also helps the employers to easily evaluate the CV.

Among the feature available to the applicant is one that selects the most appropriate job to suit their qualification from among 10,000 vacancies posted.

An SMS alert for appropriate jobs available, interviews calls are automatically generated by this site.

This make the response time on both sides short, he said. The observerjobs will have a CV bank where all uploaded records will be stored. Scheduling job interviews and even having an interview on Skype could also be arranged through this site, thus cutting down time and expense for both parties.
