CCC to launch Young Members' Forum

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) has formed a Young Members' Forum (YMF) to identify, engage and develop the next generation of leaders by providing an inspirational growth opportunity for them through various strategically driven programs. The YMF, which will be officially launched shortly, will provide leadership and entrepreneurship development programs to members.

The Chamber, which is in its 175th year, launched this initiative as it was felt that there was a dearth in 'Next Generation' leaders.

The YMF has a significant membership of young corporate executives and emerging entrepreneurs. The program aims at reaching a wider spectrum of people by building strong relationships that can be linked to the Chamber over the years. The CCC will make the most of its corporate membership to plan and integrate continuous programs to develop YMF members.

The Forum will encourage entrepreneurship, create a knowledge sharing culture, provide assistance to young professionals in relation to business, employment and training and create networking opportunities with CCC members.
