Errant traders on the mat

One hundred kilo grams of food items which were unfit for human consumption have been siezed by Public Health Inspectors during sudden raids made in the Kamburupitiya public market recently.

Among these food items detected were rotten raw fish, dried fish, decayed sprats, rotten potatoes, big onions, loaves of bread, buns and many other bakery products.
