India cruise to a six-wicket win over England

India spearheaded by a fine knock of Ambati Rayudu (not out 64) cruised to a six wicket win over England in the third One Day International match played at Trent Bridge yesterday to take a two-naught lead in the five-match series.

England taking first lease of the wicket, were dismissed for 227 runs helped by three fine knocks by Alastair Cook (44), Alex Hales (42) and Jos Buttler (42). Spinner Ravinchandra Ashwin were India's most successful bowler with three wickets for 39.

India reached target in 43 overs losing just four wickets with top scorer Ambati Rayudu (64) being ably supported by Ajinkya Rahane (45) and Virat Kohli (40) and Suresh Raina (42).
