Quarter finalists found in Under-15 table tennis tourney

The quarter final stage has been reached in the highly competitive boys and girls under 15 table tennis championship organised by the Future Spin Table Tennis Academy which began at the Cincinati Indoor Stadium, Nuwara Eliya. This is also a ranking championship. At the time of writing the boys and girls under 12 event is in progress.

Azan Manzil of Trinity College is the top seed in the event for boys winning his events and is in excellent form with the rubber. The others who have progressed from the elimination rounds to the quarter finals which will be played this morning are: Anan Manzil, Kqasun Madawa, Kavinda Manoj, Madhushan Sooriyabandara, Kqavinda Naveen, B T. Basnayake Sithum Neranja, Madhushan de Silva.

Thahsharni de Silva is the top seed in the girls under 15 championship followed by Himaya Dewindi, Nethmi Hettiarachchi, Wimsara Kekulanda U.D.Isuri Pasinduni, Nirmani Maneesha, Pujani Wittachchi, Amani Ranatunga. The finals will be played today.

The boys and girls under 18 championship will also commence today and the championship will conclude on Tuesday with the under 21 men's and women's championship and the Open men's and women's singles where the top in the trade will vie for honours.
