Mathura Steels to set up operations in North and East

Mathura Steels an importing and marketing, engineering, construction and hardware materials company will set up branches in the North and the East considering the huge potential for construction material in the regions, a company official said.

He said that the company will set up a showroom at its office in Old Moors Street in Colombo. Mathura Steels was set up on October,1992.

"We are pleased to celebrate 22 years in the construction and hardware business and help contribute to the construction sector. Over the past 22 years we have grown to become the most preferred supplier for industrial customers," he said.

Founded by two brothers, G. Parinathan and G. Murali, the company saw an opportunity for business and started sourcing products from abroad.

Over the years they established contacts with reliable sources in Malaysia, India, China, Singapore, Taiwan, UK and Spain and today they import and supply a wide range of products needed by the industry.
