Sittamgallena Esala festival from October 4-10

The historic Walasmulla Sittamgallena Raja Mahavihara Esala festival and cultural pageant which commenced on October 4 will conclude on October 10.

The Randoli perahera will parade the streets on October 8.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa, Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa, Hambantota district parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa and Uva Chief Minister Shasheendra Rajapaksa will grace the occasion.

Tharunyata Hetak, Nil Balakaya and Presidential Secretariat with a number of state and private sector organisations have extended their patronage to make the event a success.
