Four new meet records

Four new meet records were established and one was equaled on the third day of the All Island School Games at the Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo yesterday.

Triple Jump: Chamal Kumarasinghe (DS Senanayake National School, Mirigama) 14.81m

Girls Under-21

4x100m: Sumana Balika Vidyalaya, Ratnapura 50.42sec

Pole Vault: A Pavithra (Arunodaya College, Walikamam) 3.17m

Under-15 400m semi-final: Sandamali Pushpalatha (Madaoya KV, Mahiyanganaya) 59.03sec

Equaled record Boys Under-15 400m: EN Avichithya (Warankatagoda MV, Ampara) 51.86sec.
