CCC launches Young Members' Forum

The Young Members Forum (YMF) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce held its inaugural General Meeting on October 7 at which the chairperson and committee members were elected. The day also marked the official launch of the forum, which is the latest initiative of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce to identify, engage and develop the next generation of Sri Lankan leaders.

It took place at the Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo. Hemas Holdings, ICBT campus, Nations Trust Bank and Mobitel sponsored the launch.

The YMF will give its members an inspirational growth opportunity, through various strategically driven programs. The YMF has a significant membership of young corporate executives and emerging entrepreneurs.

The Forum will encourage entrepreneurship, create a knowledge-sharing culture, provide assistance to young professionals in relation to business, employment and training and create networking opportunities with CCC members.
