CILT to hold international parley

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) will host the 'Sri Lanka International Conference 2014' on November 4 at the Kingsbury.

The keynote speech will be delivered by Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The theme of this year's conference is 'Re-defining corner stones of logistics and transportation'.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Sri Lanka (CILT Sri Lanka) was set up in 1985. It has over 1,200 members who are qualified in the Transport and Logistics fields.

Over 400 people representing organisations from logistics and transport industry, industry leaders, government officials, academia and students reading in this sector including delegates from foreign countries are due to attend.
