Prabashwara leads STC, Matale this season

Left hand batsman Prabashwara Pieris leads St Thomas College Matale's
first XI cricket team this season.
Mayantha Aluvihare and Sajith de Silva open the batting for the
Thomians while Tharaka Pieris and Kawishka Weerathunge share the new
ball. Spin duo Mohamed Ismail and Pandula Udupihilla who is also a hard
hitting left hand batsman are sure to be the highest wicket takers for
the team. Ashan Yapa stands behind the stumps. Right hand batsman Nimesh
Jayamaha could be relied on to anchor the innings in the middle.
Chathura Dilshan, Geemantha Senanayake, Dhanushka Upasena, Dilan Silva,
Asanka Rathnayake, Pubudu Bandara, Nimantha Muthugala, Pramudha
Wickramasinghe and Shanilka Karunarathna will play their part to
strengthen the team.
The Matale Thomians are coached by Indika Wijesekera.
