Dear children,
We celebrated Thrift Day last week. Some of you may not know what the
word 'thrift' means. It is the ability to save for a rainy day and not
waste money. Being thrifty is important because if you learn to be
careful with money and spend it usefully, it will help you in the
future.
October 29 is designated as Thrift Day because children and adults
need to be aware of how important it is to be thrifty in money matters
and everything else that one does. Keep this in mind when you handle
money and don't waste it.
Bye for now,
Aunty Merle |
