Kurunegala-Kandy road users cautioned

The Department of Geology has warned motorists who use the Kurunegala-Kandy road of land-slide threats along the road. Soil lumps are found along this road beyond Mawathagama.

Motorists have been asked to be vigilant while using this road as there is a possibility of huge soil lumps falling on the road. people live in the hilly areas in the Kurunegala district have also been asked to be vigilant and to evacuate to safer areas in case of any tragedy.
