A spooktacular carnival in Colombo

The courtyard and restaurant of The Barnesbury at Barnes Place, Colombo 7 will be transformed into a haunted haven for spooky specters from 3.30 to 6.30 pm today, when The Barnesbury hosts its first and Colombo's only family friendly Halloween Carnival.

The brainchild of the Halloween Carnival is the duo behind The Barnesbury - Shiyam and Hafsa. Since Halloween isn't celebrated on a grand scale in Colombo, the couple wanted this to be a unique and exciting upscale family friendly carnival which offered a Halloween experience unlike any in Colombo.

The event which was inspired by their three-year-old son Adhil, blends the excitement and fun of activities with the ambience and feel of family-friendly carnival replete with goodies and free food. There are no hidden or extra charges for any of the activities and the buffet is all inclusive with the ticket.

Upon entrance to the Halloween Carnival, guests will be entertained by illusionists andcontortionists, There will also be a Halloween Photo Studio, Spooky Bouncy Castles, Halloween Nail Art, Train rides and much more. Guests with courage may enter the terrifying haunted hallway. It will be a visual feast for the eyes as each guest will have a unique and exciting experience.

The bungee run and the table air ball carnival game will both be launched for the first time in Sri Lanka at this Halloween carnival which is an ideal opportunity for those who are looking to spend quality time with their children outdoors.
