
Show-bhi-tea flees to India
A crestfallen Show-bhi-tha left for India after his attempts failed
to woo the support of the Opposition to become the candidate that is
common at the next Prez polls.
The bhikkhu was confident that he could woo the support of all but
eventually failed to impress any party in the Opposition.
Ra-Blue downplays One-Shot’s allegations
One-Shot accused Ra-Blue at the Colombo district Green organisers’
meeting of not organising a press conference to tell the bitter
experience he had during a television debate.
But Ra-Blue downplayed the celluloid hero’s allegations saying that
there is no point in holding a press conference as the rest of the media
will not talk about another TV station.
Kind-leader promotes Ka-roo
Sun Kind-Leader was dejected as the Green leader had shuffled Colombo
district organisers while keeping the party’s district leader in the
dark.
Following the step-motherly treatment he received at the Hyde Park
meeting, Kind-Leader is now surreptitiously promoting Ka-Roo as the
party’s presidential candidate.
He has already held a couple of discussions with the reformist group
Em Pees in the party.
Peratugami adds more woes to Bell Boys
The Bell Boys are facing a tough challenge as their breakaway group –
the Peratugami plans to field a candidate for the next Prez polls with
the support of a few lesser-known leftist parties.
Anura Prince is reluctant to face the challenge, knowing that his
political nudity would be exposed but Lull-Kanth is adamant that the
chief Bell Boy should take up the challenge as the leader. |
