Singer inks partnership with Sony

Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC recently launched the entire range of consumer and electronic products of Japanese electronics giant Sony, in Sri Lanka.

Through the partnership, Singer Sri Lanka will handle across its retail network, the product distribution, sales and marketing activities of Sony's consumer and electronic product range including Bravia televisions, Cyber-shot and digital cameras, Walkman audio products, the Xperia range of mobile phones and tablet devices.

Redefining the standards of picture quality and the home entertainment viewing experience, the launch unveiled the Bravia range of 4K TV, LED and HD TVs.

The amazing functionality and groundbreaking design affords consumers unbeatable performance while enjoying clear picture quality.

The new TV range offers consumers powerful features and intelligent solutions to match their entertainment needs.

Consumers across the country will also enjoy Singer's superior after sales service through 400 retail outlets, eight regional service centres and over 150 service outlets.

"This partnership is of significance as it represents efforts to offer consumers the latest quality products from Sony," said Director, Marketing and Commercial, Singer (Sri Lanka), Mahesh Wijewardene.

"The newly launched TVs with external protection and industry-best features are a perfect match for our technologically-savvy customers and we are proud to partner with a brand such as Sony that continues to lead the industry with its capacity to innovate and anticipate customer choices," he said.

"We believe that a strong partnership with Sony is a decisive step in the expansion of our services. Singer is renowned for its sustained innovation in new products and technologies, constantly working towards enriching the lives of consumers," Wijewardene said.

Among the products introduced at the launch were Sony's new Bravia R350B and R306B TVs, which offers solid durability and enhanced features.
