DMS and Bliss to build three hotels
Australia based DMS Universal and its Sri Lanka travel and tourism
arm - Bliss Travels will build three hotels in Negombo, Uswetakeiyawa
and Sigiriya banking on Sri Lanka's fast-growing hotel industry.
"We are positive about Sri Lanka's potential. Bliss Travels has spent
US$ 108 million to acquire land and we hope to invest another US$ 245
million on the projects in addition to our Colombo apartment project,"
said Executive Director, DMS Universal, Dr. Damian Fernando.

DMS Universal is a private limited company incorporated and
registered in Australia. Its core business is construction and is
engaged in apartment development in Melbourne.
Its travel arm - Bliss Travels, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DMS
Universal (Pvt) Ltd of Australia.
Set up in 2010, it is involved in airline ticketing, international
hotel reservation, out-bound holiday tours and travel insurance. Its
head office is in Melbourne, Australia.
DMS universal, a property development organisation has established
its name as reliable developer in northern suburbs of Melbourne. The
company has completed nearly 10 construction projects over the past four
years.
The newest addition to DMS Universal, was initially named Exotic
Island (Pvt) limited (in 2012). From this financial year, Exotic Island
(Pvt) Limited has been re-branded and re-launched for the Sri Lankan
market as Bliss Travels - Sri Lanka. In 2013, Bliss Travels won the
Emirates' Fastest Growing Travel Agent in Melbourne Award - organised by
Emirates and Orient Express Travel Group.
"Over the past four years Bliss Travels has achieved a notable
position in the industry through its outstanding seamless effort and
unmatched services catering to specific client needs.
