Regent International College dancing troupe at the prize-giving

British High Commissioner John Rankin was the chief guest at Regents International College recently. The achievements throughout the year focused on academic excellence, art and sport. He spoke on the merits of a quality English education.

He endorsed English as a global language and said Regents International College ensured global standards and opportunity.

The Best All Rounder Award went to Shehana Allon.

The welcome address was delivered by Head Boy of the College, Kovindu Perera and the vote of thanks by Head Girl Achini Hapuwalanage High Commissioner John Rankin laid the foundation stone for the new development plan.

The new building will feature state- of- the- art classrooms within a purpose built block at a cost of over Rs. 70 million.
