Colour ballpoint canvas art exhibition

Mangala Madanayake will hold his colour ballpoint canvas art exhibition at the Public Library auditorium, Colombo 7 on December 22 and 23. The exhibition will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Christmas CD from Anil Bhareti

Anil Bhareti has released his Christmas CD in time for the season and is now available at all leading music outlets.

The album contains the best selection of his original Christmas songs performed by him, especially the ever popular Bethlehem Pure which is now a great hit not only for Anil Bhareti but also during every Christmas season.

The music backing is by the Super Chimes and the arrangements are by Channa Athalage, leader of the band. Apart from Bethlehem Pure some of the other selections are Sandaken, Dinaka Perani, Judha Pure and Rea Seethale.

Anil Bhareti counts over 40 years in the music industry and is a popular figure at stage shows in Sri Lanka as well as in many foreign countries. He started his singing career in the 1970s and to his credit has over 100 songs on CDs and music cassettes.
