Muslims should vote for the President -Uduma Lebbe

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has launched several development projects in the country. Therefore, we the Muslims should vote for President Rajapaksa said. Eastern Provincial Road Development Irrigation Housing Construction Water Supply and Rural Electrification Minister M.S. Udumalebbe at the central Committee meeting of the National Congress held recently in Addalaichenai.

He said that the country was subjected to a chaotic situation by the terrorists which was ended by the President Rajapaksa. This should be written in letters of gold in the history of Sri Lanka. Terrorism was abolished in Sri Lanka and as a result development activities are under way.

Those in the west are trying to offer dollars to some opponents - UNPers. Due to terrorism in the country we could not go to our paddy fields or schools we could not undertake any journey. Now we are free from all these 'difficulties' and are living peacefully. There are certain controversial issues among multi-ethnic groups in the country. There are issues of minority communities and powers of the Provincial Councils. More than two-thirds of the Muslims live outside the North-East. They are living with the Sinhala people peacefully.
