UPFA campaign offices spring up

Coconut Development and Janatha Estate Development Minister Jagath Pushpakumara opened 80 election campaign offices in support of President Mahinda Rajapaksa in the forthcoming Presidential election set up in a record time of eight hours.

The offices have come up in Sevanagala, Thanamalvila and Wellawaya in the Wellawaya electorate, Buttala and Kataragama electorates in the Moneragala district.

He said that steps have been taken to set up 139 election campaign offices in the Wellawaya electorate, which will be opened shortly. NJ
