A new agreement was signed on Friday between the Management of
SriLankan Airlines and the Flight Attendants’ Union (FAU), for a period
of three years.
The agreement mutually recognises the importance of enhancing
productivity and contributing to business priorities whilst addressing
the needs of the cabin crew in keeping with industry trends and employee
retention demands.
SriLankan Airlines’ management appreciates the Union’s approach in
joining hands with the company in this hour of need and revival, and
wishes to recognise the professionalism with which the committee members
of the Union conducted the negotiations, to bring this agreement to a
successful conclusion.
The Airline views this agreement as an exemplary achievement which
was executed in line with the company's future expansion plans and
overall objectives and calls on all employee groups to work towards the
management's slogan, “ Working together and winning together”.
