President's victory, a foregone conclusion - Azwer

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has won the hearts of Tamil, Muslim and Sinhala people in the country.

So, his victory in the election is a foregone conclusion, Presidential Advisor and former UPFA Parliamentarian A.H.M. Azwer told the Sunday Observer yesterday.

"The great conspiracy is now well exposed. This is what the President was warning about to the nation. When I was in Parliament I had mentioned that millions of American dollars have changed hands to commit this great betrayal.

"We are confident that the majority of Muslims in the country will vote for President Mahinda Rajapaksa. The massive turn-out in Anuradhapura stands testimony to the support President Rajapaksa has from the people.

Maithripala Sirisena always adopted an anti-Muslim attitude, when he forced the Muslims to close down the rice mills in Polonnaruwa, Medirigiriya and Kaduruwela areas, Azwer said.
