Facets of Social and Economic History of Sri Lanka

Prof. W.I. Siriweera's latest book Facets of Social and Economic History of Sri Lanka will be launched at the Dayawansa Jayakody Bookshop, Colombo 10 on December 30 at 10 a.m. The book consists of an analysis of Indian influence on Sri Lanka, nationalism, floods, famine, health, hygiene, land ownership, taxes and the control of economy.

Raja Saha Ghathakaya

Visakesa Chandrasekaran's Sinhala novel Raja Saha Ghathakaya will be launched at the Namel-Malini Punchi Theatre, Colombo 8 on December 30 at 4.30 p.m. He will also launch a CD containing ten of his songs.
