Leander Paes, son of former Indian hockey mid-fielder and sports
medicine specialist Vece Paes, said that the NADA officials who
conducted the test were once students of his father.

The 14-time Grand Slam winner in doubles and mixed doubles is gearing
up to play a couple of warm-up tournaments early next year before the
Australian Open begins Jan 19.For the new season, Paes will be teaming
up with South African Raven Klaasen, who will be his 99th men's doubles
partner.He will also partner former Grand Slam champion Martina Hingis
in mixed doubles. Hingis will be Paes' 24th mixed doubles partner.
