Cover: On a muddy trail

In the villages going to school is a difficult task. Transport is a problem and many students trek miles to go to school.

This photograph by our photographer Sudam Gunasinghe was taken when children from Medawachchiya Thamanukula Primary school were trying to cross over a muddy pool to get to school on time. In the process they were splashed all over with mud. However, they seem to be enjoying the fun!

Back Cover: Computer wiz kid

Dulaj Huwin Amerasinghe a student of Harrow International, Mount Lavinia is a computer wiz kid. Young as he is, he has mastered the computer. Our photographer Sudam Gunasinghe clicked this photograph for our cover this week.
