Asian Attorneys General confab on Jan 19
The conference of Attorneys General of South, South-East and East
Asia will be held at the BMICH on January 19 under the patronage of Sri
Lanka Attorney General, Yuvanjana Wijayatilake PC, to mark the 130th
anniversary of the creation of the office of the Attorney General of Sri
Lanka.
The central theme will be "Role of the Attorney General in a changing
Asia".
Heart patient needs help
Mohamed Ashraf Kitchil (52) of 26, Second Lane, Weliserawatte,
Mahabage, Ragama, father of two girls aged 24 and 15 and an ex-employee
of Certis Lanka Security Solution Private Ltd., is suffering from
coronary artery disease has been recommended to undergo surgery by
Consultant Cardiologist, Durdans Heart Centre, Dr. Keseva Dev.
The total estimated cost of surgery will be Rs. 665,000. Ashraf
appeals to the generous public for help. Contribution could be credited

Kidney patient appeals for help
W.G.V. Sarath Kumara, 32, a father of two of 238 A/1, Iddamaldeniya
Hena, Minipogoda, Maramba, Akuressa is suffering from End Stage renal
failure.
Consultant Nephrologist of Karapitiya Teaching Hospital, Galle has
recommended immediate kidney transplant.
Sarath Kumara says his father has agreed to donate a kidney but the
surgery would cost a tidy sum which he cannot afford.
He appeals to the general public to assist his cause with financial
contributions to expedite the surgery.
