Two Opposition heads set to cross over

At least two prominent leaders in the Opposition alliance are to join the governing types within the next three days. They have almost finalised their discussions with the Cabin-Nut members who had approached them. The crossovers would be announced at any moment, inflicting a severe blow on Polonnaruwe Sira’s campaign.

My-Lick accused of destroying Ra-Blue

Ra-Blue’s school buddy My-Lick rang MR last week. “You are a real man” the Prez said. “Why Sir?” a surprised My-Lick asked. “You not only destroyed the You-En-Pee but also your friend,” the Prez replied. “What do mean by that Sir?” My-Lick inquired. “You have got hold of the lady, destroyed your party and the leader and is now trying to defeat me. Let us see who would win,” a confident MR said.

Fonny enlightens Sira on the Opposition

Ponnaruwe Sira had a chat with Fonny to get a clarification on the latter’s previous statement that the joint Opposition deserted him after the 2010 Prez polls defeat and that Fonny had a lone battle for survival. “Is that correct General? Will this Opposition do the same to me?” Sira asked. “That Opposition which supported me five years ago was far better - at least the Jay-vee-Pee was there. Most of our current partners are opportunists,” Fonny said.

Retired Big Lady threatens to quit

The Retired Big Lady has threatened to quit the Opposition alliance and disclose all secrets after a heated argument with Polonnaruwe Sira, Fonny and Ra-Blue over her controversial speech in Jaffna where she referred to the late Tiger leader as Mr. Prabhakaran. “You are selling our souls. We both can’t hold the same view and one must quit,” an irate Fonny said. The Big Lady had told Fonny that he could remain and she would go back to London and expose all their deals.
