Munchee has provided study centres, libraries, computer and science laboratories which contributes to the intellectual development of the next generation through the Gamata Sarana program.

"We are a company that contributes towards the community because we believe business is not only about profit but also helping our community grow," said Group Director and Head of Marketing and

These may seem like simple things but they make a world of difference to the people in the communities we help," he said. CBL's field sales staff of around 500, regularly interact with local community leaders to identify potential projects.

After careful consideration five projects are chosen each month for execution. CBL works together with many rural communities throughout Sri Lanka. As aresponsible business entity, it believes in sharing its growth and giving back to the communities through CSR initiatives that cater to the welfare of the most needy.

Helping the sustainable growth of these communities is a duty that CBL takes seriously. CBL strives to go beyond the norm to make a positive impact on society.
