The opening of the Arpico Daily outlet at
Athurugiriya and the outlet at Kuliyapitiya.

The Arpico retail chain opened six more 'Daily' supermarkets between October and December 2014, taking the number of Arpico retail outlets to 60.

The latest Arpico 'Daily' outlets opened at Meegoda, Arewwala, Kuliyapitiya, Pokunuwita, Athurugiriya and Weliveriya are a microcosm of the Arpico shopping experience, representing product diversity and multi-brand choice that are the hallmark of the larger Arpico Supercentres, a company official said.

Arpico Daily outlets offer fast-moving consumer goods, daily essentials, dairy products, fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and seafood, household items such as kitchenware, glassware and plastic items, toys, stationery, garden products and electronics. All of the Arpico 'Daily' outlets have space for parking and the full complement of facilities of other Arpico Daily outlets.

The Arpico chain now comprises 60 outlets - 16 Arpico Supercentres, 29 showrooms and 15 Arpico Daily mini supermarkets.

The Arpico Supercentres, the company's flagship outlets, offer extensive parking, bill payments, banking facilities, lifestyle needs and a wide range of products ranging from household goods, electronic appliances to kitchenware and furniture.
