Time deprives Karandeniya Central of outright win against Rahula College

Time deprived Karandeniya Central College of forcing an outright win against Rahula College, Matara in the U.19 Division II cricket match at the Uyanwatte Stadium, Matara.

Put into bat, Karandeniya C.C. made 139 with Yasiru Hewanadugala 3 for 30 and Kalana Hasaranga 3 for 13 taking the wickets.) In the second innings, Karandeniya C.C. made 172 for 9 declared.

Rahula made 116 in 40.5 overs and 96 for 8 wickets in 41 overs.

Karandeniya Central College: 139 in 43.3 overs (Yohan Madhusanka 25; Yasiru Hewanadugala 3 for 30, Kalana Hasaranga 3 for 13) and 172 for 9 wkts dec in 66.4 overs (Sudeera Thilakerathna 30, Pasindu Nisal 51, Yohan Madhusanka 21, Nuwan Sampath 33; Pasan Samarathunga 4 for 44, Avindu Prabudha 4 for 36.)

Rahula College: 116 in 40.5 overs (Yasiru Hewanadugala 29; Sudeera Thilakarathna 4 for 29, Suranga Madhusanka 3 for 17, Mahesh Weerasinghe 2 for 8) and 96 for 8 in 41 overs (Kalana Hasaranga 32, Dishan Sandaruwan 18 not out; Damith Prasanka 3 for 24.)
