GMNet creates simulated stock market portal
The Colombo Virtual Stock Exchange (VSE) that was recently unveiled
by Global Media Networks to increase investor participation in the
Capital Market, may be the 'Most Innovative Virtual Exchange' model in
the world that could improve market development and could be used
training financial professionals' in any country, sources in the global
capital market said.
Colombo Virtual Stock Exchange or VSE that comes with mobile
application on Google App Store and Apple App Store is a simulated stock
market portal conceptualised, created and designed by Global Media
Networks Ltd (GMNet), a limited liability company.
VSE uses publicly available stock market information and other
macroeconomic factors of the Sri Lanka Stock Market to create a
simulated training environment for stock market enthusiasts and
investors to learn and practice stock market trading.
Virtual Stock Exchange has integrated an Order Execution System named
Virtual Trading System (VTS), back-end administrator portal named
Virtual Depository System (VDS) and Virtual Bank Account (VBA) to create
this simulated trading environment.
Integration of the Virtual Bank Account to the simulated environment
provides a feature for players to learn to adjust themselves to diverse
investment scenarios through switching of their investments to varying
asset classes. |
