SriLankan Airlines stewardess dies in Doha accident

A SriLankan Airlines stewardess died on the spot and three cabin crew
members sustained injuries when the vehicle that they were traveling
during a desert safari toppled in Doha, Qatar yesterday evening.
Four cabin crew members of the UL 218 which was scheduled to fly back
to Colombo at 10.45pm met with the tragic accident around 5.30 pm,
SriLankan Airlines sources said.
There were six passengers on board the SUV that took them on a
commercial desert safari off the deserts in Doha when it toppled due to
unknown reasons. The deceased was flight stewardess Amendra Dekauwe
while five others including three flight attendants were hospitalised. |
