Amana Bank wins fouth IFN accolade

Amăna Bank, a licensed commercial bank operating according to the
doctrines of Islamic banking, triumphed again at the Islamic Finance
News (IFN) Awards Ceremony by claiming the 'Best Islamic Bank in Sri
Lanka' accolade.
The IFN Awards which are based on a global poll conducted in 2014 by
the Malaysia-based Red Money Group recognises the best providers of
Islamic financial services across global markets.
The accolade was presented to the Bank's Chief Executive Officer,
Mohamed Azmeer, at the awards ceremony in Kuala Lumpur recently.
Mohamed Azmeer said, "To be globally recognised as the country's best
Islamic financial services provider for four consecutive years is a
great achievement for the Bank for which we are extremely happy."
"Over the past few years Amăna Bank has been successful in
establishing a strong foothold in the Islamic banking and finance
industry in Sri Lanka, which is reflected by the significant growth we
have achieved in our asset and liability portfolios," he said. |
