Kerry promises:

US help to recover stolen assets

The visiting Secretary of State John Kerry during a public lecture at Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo, pledged US’ expertise and assistance to recover Sri Lanka’s stolen State assets.

He told an audience of politicians, students and members of the civil society that his government will commit to every cent of stolen assets stashed in the United States being returned to its rightful owners.

He said their team is ready to offer assistance at a time Sri Lanka was undergoing historic reforms.
